This blog is dedicated to Ayn Van Dyk and her father Derek Hoare who have not spoken to nor seen each other for 77 days since she was abducted.
Today, September 1, 2011 in Abbotsford, BC Derek will have his first opportunity to present information to the court. We hope and prayer for a positive outcome from these proceedings.
If you have not already done so, please read an accurate account of this story at https://www.facebook.com/groups/justiceforayn/doc/164987920241370/
Keep this little one and her family uppermost in your thoughts and prayers today and until her safe return home.
Kudos to you for taking the time to start this blog.
ReplyDeleteWe have been following this case almost since the day little Ayn Van Dyke was removed from her father June 16, 2011.
It is truly difficult for me to grasp how a government representative can show up at any parent's home without a warrant, then remove that parent's child from school.
It is even more mind boggling to understand that the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) says there are no safety issues, and declares the father Derek Hoare overwhelmed with three children and removing one will make life easier for him.
It is my understanding that in the two and a half months that have elapsed, Ayn has not seen her two siblings, Lyric and Wyatt. Ayn's mom Amie has seen her just twice.
It is beyond belief for me to understand why this little girl has been drugged by the state into submission, when she has no history of having ever 'needed' such drugs before.
I've been involved with this from the beginning too. This is a case of kidnapping, nothing else can define what the MCFD has done to Ayn!! Our thoughts and prayers are with Derek, Amie, Ayn & the boys today!!
ReplyDeleteJUSTICE FOR AYN!! Let her go home where she belongs!!!
Parents of special needs children seek support, ideas, and enouragement and in emergency cases such as this HELP! Unfortunately by doing what was supposed to be the right thing, reporting his child missing, this family is suffering from a the result of ignorance in power. I pray light is shed upon the hearts of the individuals who can return this child to her family where she belongs.
ReplyDeleteI too have been following this case since the beginning. It is dispicable that someone can just come into a person's home and determine that the child(ren) are at risk and need to be removed without just cause. I hope the public outcry is enough to help Derek get his precious daughter back.
ReplyDeleteOur prayers are with Derek. Ayn needs to be returned to her father where she belongs. This is legalized kidnapping! And for what? Bring Ayn home!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for starting this blog, and providing a safe venue for people to support Derek Hoare and his daughter, Ayn, as well as a place to discuss solutions to the problems caused by MCFD.
ReplyDeletePeople all over the world are watching MCFD and can see that they absolutely do NOT have the child's best interests at heart.
You are welcome, wish I had done this sooner but............. and right now we will concentrate on it being a place to provide support. Maybe in the future it can meet other needs of the group too.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU sincerely to everyone who has supported my brother and niece - Ayn should be with her family no question about it.
ReplyDeleteVery sad, frustrating, and maddening, to see that the court and MCFD have delayed, and thwarted the reunion of Ayn with her loving family.
ReplyDeleteCan't we organize outside the courthouse or have some kind of visible rally / protest in order to get the appropriate media attention?
Thank you Jean for this blog, it provides a place to send friends to see the story who don't have facebook.
ReplyDeleteThis is a tragic story where there has been one mistake after another. I am hoping that on the next court date those involved admit that the best place for Ayn is with her dad.
